This is my recent tattoo done at XBody Art Emporium in Swansea, MA by Meg. They’re both lyrics from two songs. “Good love is on the way” is the title of possibly my favorite John Mayer song; and “the fear has got to go” is from the song “This Time Around” by Hanson. Music has a huge impact on my life, and I think, my philosophy of life and how I view the world. Therefore, I wanted to represent my favorite artists, but also some of my personal mantras.

Lyric from a we came as romans song that always stood out to me. Throughout my life i had a lot of people that screwed me over and i always said i was gonna change and push those people out of my life. I finally succeeding in doing that and got this tattoo to remind me not to go back to those places, not to put up with it, and to live a better life.

This is my first tattoo. It says, “may wonders never cease.” In my life, I’m constantly seeking to experience wonder in the world around me. I always want to be fascinated - by people, by experiences, by moments, by knowledge, by words, by emotions… if we can’t see wonder in our day to day lives, what’s the point in being alive? Being alive means experiencing wonder at the beauty of a sunset, at the revelation of a new tidbit of knowledge, at the discovery of new things, at the power of another’s love for us.
The tattoo was completely worth it. There are many more to come, and they will all stem from my desire for fascination.
